On June 1st, 2024, the Oak Hills Community Hub construction was officially started, an event celebrated by TRSA. Greg Loveday, TRSA's president, took part in the ceremony alongside other dignitaries. To mark this significant occasion, Greg was joined by Brian Boswell (President of OHCL), Rhaki Pancholi (Member of the Legislative Assembly for Edmonton-Whitemud), Tim Cartmell (Councillor for Ward pihêsiwin in COE), Shannon Fitzsimmons (Director of Facility Planning and Design at COE), and Jenn Parsonage (President of EFCL).
The community hub will not only provide storage and meeting facilities but also serve as a central point for members to gather, collaborate, and engage in various activities. The storage facilities will ensure that TRSA has a secure and organized space to store equipment, supplies, and important documents, enabling the organization to function efficiently. Additionally, the meeting facilities will be equipped with modern amenities and technology to facilitate productive discussions, workshops, and events. This dedicated space within the community hub will foster a sense of belonging and unity among TRSA members, encouraging teamwork, innovation, and community involvement.
