GENERAL INDOOR SOCCER INFORMATION
Registration for the indoor soccer season begins in early August. The regular indoor season runs from early October to late January.
INDOOR SOCCER FORMAT
Games occur in indoor soccer centres. The program is citywide for all levels from U5 to U19 and is administered by the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association. The games are 6v6 and are played on a fully boarded pitch, like a hockey rink. It's an exciting game with changes on the fly, no offside, passing the ball off the boards, minimal stoppages in play and lots of opportunities to score.

There is one game* a week, which is played at one of the Edmonton soccer centres.
-
*The U5 program only practices.
-
U7 program sessions are split 1/2 practice, 1/2 game.
-
U9 to U19 teams will receive indoor training sessions in school gyms or on a 1/2 field throughout the season.
-
The coach may schedule additional training sessions.
TRSA SUPPORTS INDOOR SOCCER
TRSA teams are typically made with most if not all, TRSA players. TRSA players are commonly blended with players from other communities as needed to make a team. TRSA typically has about 50 indoor teams.

TRSA provides an equipment bag that includes age-appropriate soccer balls(size 3-5), an air pump, cones, pinnies, goalkeeper jerseys and gloves, a coach's clipboard and a first aid kit to each team.
